AI Summarizer
The AI Summarizer turns long content into a short, useful summary. Point it at a PDF, an email thread, meeting notes, a chat history, a web page, or a YouTube video — pick a summary style — and get the result back in a variable.
Content in, summary out: Choose what kind of content you are summarizing. The block fetches URLs for you (PDF, web page, YouTube transcript) — no extra download step needed.
Key Features
- 7 Content Types: PDF, email, meeting notes, chat history, web page, YouTube transcript, or any custom text
- 4 Summary Styles: Bullet points, brief summary, key decisions, or action items
- Automatic Fetching: URL-based types (PDF, web page, YouTube) are fetched and parsed server-side
- Style-Aware Prompts: The summary adapts to the content type (e.g. "Key Decisions" on meeting notes lists every decision with context)
- Bring Your Own Model: Optionally pick a provider, model, and your own credentials

- Under Response Mapping, click Add Mapping and save Summary into a variable.
Example: Daily email digest
A Gmail Trigger fires on each new email. Connect it to an AI Summarizer:
- Content Type: Email / Email Thread
- Email Content:
{{gmailTrigger.bodyContent}} - Summary Style: Action Items
- Response Mapping: save Summary →
email_actions
Then send {{email_actions}} to yourself on Slack. Every long email becomes a short task list.
