Typeform Action Block
The Typeform Action Block works with your Typeform forms and their responses — list forms, fetch submissions, create or update forms, and pull completion insights.
Forms Automation: Use the Typeform Trigger to react instantly to each new submission, and use this block to fetch data on demand — for example a daily export of all responses.
Key Features
- Response Access: Fetch all responses of a form, or a single response by id
- Form Management: Create, update, and delete forms from a workflow
- Insights: Pull form analytics (views, starts, completions)
- Variable Support: Every field accepts
{{variables}}from earlier blocks

Connecting Typeform
- In Typeform, open your account menu → Settings → Personal tokens.
- Click Generate a new token, give it a name, and select the scopes you need (forms read/write, responses read).
- Copy the token.
- In the Typeform block settings, add a new connection and paste the Access Token.
- Save and select the credential in the block.
⚠️
The token is shown only once in Typeform — copy it before closing the dialog. If lost, generate a new one.
Output
The Typeform API response is stored as the block's output. Reference fields downstream with {{blockId.field}} — for example {{blockId.items}} for the response list returned by Get Responses.
Example: Daily response digest
- Schedule Trigger — runs every day at 9:00.
- Typeform (Get Responses) — fetches yesterday's submissions for your feedback form.
- AI Summarizer — condenses the answers into key themes.
- Slack — posts the summary to the product channel.
