Intercom Action Block

The Intercom Action Block allows you to manage contacts, conversations, and messages within Intercom from your workflows.

⚠️

Requires an Intercom API access token. Generate one from your Intercom Developer Hub.

Supported Actions

  • Manage Contacts - Create, update, search, or delete contacts (leads and users).
  • Manage Conversations - Create, reply to, close, or snooze conversations.
  • Send Messages - Send in-app messages or emails to contacts.
  • Tag Contacts - Add or remove tags from contacts for segmentation.
  • Search Conversations - Query conversations by status, assignee, or tag.

Configuration

  • Access Token - Intercom API access token with required scopes.
  • Contact ID - Target contact identifier for contact-specific operations.
  • Conversation ID - Target conversation for reply or update actions.
  • Message Body - Content of the message to send.

  • Automatically create Intercom contacts when new leads enter your workflow.
  • Route chatbot conversations to Intercom for live agent handoff.
  • Tag and segment users based on their behavior in your workflows.
